Forgiveness
We could all learn a thing or two about forgiveness from the children in our lives.
I personally think that I am very laid back but have a hard time forgiving and an even harder time forgetting when I have been wronged. I struggle with this A LOT no matter how hard I try.
I watch these two boys, at the mercy of my parenting trials and tribulations forgive so WHOLLY and EASILY when I make a mistake. Literally, five minutes later all they want is love from me..which only serves to make me feel even worse.

The new 25
I am turning 35 in a few days and while I have never been a big numbers girl this one is hitting me kind of hard. I am blessed in more ways than you want to hear but I still feel like I have not accomplished as much by this age as I thought I would. On the other hand, I had a hard time envisioning myself as a mother or a wife and if I say so myself I am doing a pretty decent job in that arena. Life is funny, short, unpredictable, great, crazy but it is my life and I am proud and thankful of where I am....even if it isn't where I expected to be.
If you really knew me you would know that
I am shy
I love being outside digging in the earth
I am married to my best friend..and the funniest person I have ever met
I look forward to my English Breakfast Tea every morning
I recycle
I am teaching myself to sew
Italian food = true love
I never thought I would be so domesticated...or a stay at home mom
Fresh cut grass, rosemary and baby breath are some of my favorite smells
I go with the flow but never quite fit in
I love to read

Decade
Think back to the years 2001 through 2010. Give that decade a name ("The ______ Decade.")
The "I graduated, now what....let's buy a farm and cows....too easy..let's leave behind all of our family and friends and move to another state and oh shit...they are going to let me take this baby I just birthed home...and wow this being a mom stuff is kind of cool, exhausting but cool" decade.

Make
Today I want to make:
Rockets out of recyclables.
Smiles out of frowns.
Lemonade out of lemons.
Buildings out of blocks.
Great men out of little boys.
Food out of love.

Morning
A fresh start.
Need to pee.
No really, it can't be morning yet.
Crazy bed hair is cute on babies, on me, not so much.
English Breakfast Tea
Brrrrrr.....
